How Scoring and the Quote Work
The game uses twelve fair switches to form all directed nonloop edges on vertices 0 through 3. The reward counts simple directed paths from 0 to 3 with no repeated vertices. Switches are revealed in row-major edge or matrix order.
The live gross quote is calculated as (0.97 × conditional expected terminal reward) / initial expected reward. This quote may rise or fall as switches are revealed. The 3% opening deduction appears only once in the quote. Every policy using only revealed information has a 97% expected gross return.
Stopping Rules and Auto-Collection
Manual collection is available after the first reveal. Auto-thresholds are set at 1.2, 2, 3, or 5. These thresholds collect the actual full first-crossing quote. If a threshold is unreachable, the system waits for the terminal result.

Wallet and Balance Restoration
The demo starts with an initial balance of 1000 virtual coins. If the idle balance drops below 10, it may be manually restored to exactly 1000. This restoration sets the balance to 1000; it does not add coins on top of the existing balance.
Fractional carry persists through settlement, manual refill, and reload. The local settled balance, including zero, persists in the browser's localStorage.
Reloading and Unfinished Rounds
Reloading the page does not refund an unfinished round. If you reload while a round is active, that round ends without refund or resume. Progress is not resumable across reloads for unfinished rounds.
